How often will I receive updates?
As often as you like - once I've received all the required details [any stock images you've purchased, titles, pen names, themes, and colour schemes - I'll work in 2 hour stages. Once there's been approval or feedback, I'll commence work as required.
Can I pay in a payment plan?
Yes! A recurring monthly payment plan can be set up to help handle the cost. An initial deposit will be required and final works will be withheld until the work is paid off [with few exceptions].
Do you offer any budget services?
I offer premade covers at a reduced rate and I'm willing to work within a budget. If you contact me with the budget you have in mind and a list of what you need, I'll do my best to assist where I can.
How long does it take?
Depending on the services requested and the frequency of communication between myself and the client, this can vary quite drastically. Once I've provided an update, work halts until feedback is received. Single services may take up to five days from work commencing, while others may take longer.
There may also be a wait before work commences if I'm already working on another order.
I can't afford paid stock - can you use AI?
If you're unable to afford paid stock - whether direct from suppliers, GETTY images, or other third party companies - I can do my best to locate stock images which are either free or in paid plans I use as a designer. I'll send you samples of what can be used so you can pick from them.
Under no circumstances will I use Generative AI - if this is requested, I will refuse to provide services to the individual.
Besides the fact Gen AI is destroying our planet and harming marginalised communities, it's also actively stealing from creators of all kinds in order to learn how to "produce" what you request. Additionally, it's not copyrightable. Your cover, marketing, and anything Gen AI touches will be an unsecure asset which could also land you in a lawsuit if the Gen AI engine has replicated a real artist's work like for like.
Where are your stocks from?
Some of the stocks that I use are of my own creation, but in cases where I don't have something available/don't have the ability to produce something, I can work with other creators [at the request of the client] or use one of the following options:
- Canva and Canva Pro stock
- Unsplash and Unsplash+ stock
- Pixabay
- Pexels
I thoroughly investigate stock - via vetting their origin, creator, and what they're posted as - to prevent using any Gen AI.
Is VAT/Tax included in the price?
Yes - 20% VAT is included in the prices as displayed/given.
